With much anticipation, trial and error, hard work, and loads of passion, it's time. Mortal Elixir has come to life. This was never supposed to be a business. One night I woke up and needed to apply something because my legs throbbed and I lay in agony, like most nights, needing relief. I woke up, opened my cupboard and reached for one of the dozens of topical pain relievers I'd purchased within the last few years. As I was about to spray myself with a toxic product, basically antifreeze, I paused. I was inspired by words my husband had so delicately said to me about a month prior. Brace yourself... "Babe, we're gonna have to sleep in separate beds, I hate the smells of all those nasty pain relievers you need..." Now, this may sound kinda harsh, but I do need them. EVERY night. My husband adores me and is my number one cheerleading fan. Meanwhile, the thought entered my mind, and he was right. It all stinks. Some is mildly tolerable, but I'm in my 40's not my 80's. Of course there may be some beautifully fragrant products out there, but how much money will I spend seeking it out, not to mention the thousands I'd already invested? So, hearing my husbands voice, knowing I would always need this product, I thought, " I can't be the only one who would love this...I'm making my own." All of M.E. is in every product.
